"So what that In n' Out Burger is a chain. It's still cool!  One of the few times you'll hear me say that!" - MD
Tole House
So you want a great place for breakfast on the way to the track?  We found a great place just a few minutes from Auto Club Speedway that is a morning must! They serve lunch too so it's not out of the question to sneak away since it's so close.

The breakfasts are big and real good. I had the french toast and had a side of smoked sausage on the side (pictured below). Tole House is a great little local joint that wont disappoint. We saw several racing people in there before we drove in to the track last year.

Spicy Chocolatier???
You may have noticed the Spicy Chocolatier ad on Speedeats.com? It's not some big company coming in and advertising with us. It's a good friend that works in Motorsports TV named Darren. After years of experimenting his chocolate creations on the road with us, he has perfected his craft and is starting to sell his chocolates.

The chocolates are amazing. Help out this start-up company and try some of their chocolates. They are very yummy.  For the spice lover, the sky is the limit. For wimps like MD... they have mild chocolates.

Not too Shabby...
Vince's Spaghetti claims over 15,000 miles of spaghetti served each year! Yes, spaghetti is a sort of generic deal to some, but to natives of the Ontario, CA area (near California Speedway), twirling their noodles has been a tradition since 1945.

Wahoo's Fish Taco
Wahoo's rocks... simply put. They are a local chain and a fabulous restaurant fusing Mexican, Brazillian and Asian flavors.

You will likely see MD, Jason "Eagle" Allison and a ton of other racing peops in there througout the weekend.

Fredy's Tacos

Freddy's or Fredy's?  Well, they have both. It's spelled one way on the main sign and another way on the other. It doesn't matter...the sign isn't important.  It's in a strip mall, definitely not fancy but it is authentic!

A great spot for local authentic mexican food. Make sure you try one of their delicious fresh-fruit shakes.  Carne Asada tacos and Carnitas are great. I've taken an order back to the room. It's real close to the track and most of the Ontario hotels.

Taco Xalisco
It's not in the greatest neighborhood, but if you want good, cheap and authentic mexican... this is another place as good as Fredy's. They are both challenging to spell for different reasons though.  Xalisco's taco's are pretty darn good!
