History and Food
A local hot spot that is known for their Sunday Brunch (for those driving back Sunday morning do it!)  Sausage Corn Dogs? Yeah, enough said. But we'll say more...
It's in a great old neighborhood in Richmond and serves up great southern cuisine w a twist. Some  historical photos on the walls to take a look at including the detailed map of Richmond in 1865, just as the Civil War was ending. The last fact alone makes this a place worthy of a visit by NASCAR.com personality, the Internet's Chuck Bush (also a Civil War History Expert).

Dot's Back Inn
Speedeats.com says: "The Best and the closest to the track"

This place should be on the top of your list for Richmond. It is a favorite of many in the NASCAR garage. I know it is also a hot-spot for several people I work with in racing. It's also a favorite of Tony Stewart's crew chief Darian Grubb.

A true neighborhood hot-spot serving up a heap-load of classic diner dishes. GREAT stuff. Dot's Back Inn was also featured on Triple-D. If you don't know what Triple-D stands for, get a TV! Guy Fieri is the man.

Buz and Ned's Real Barbecue
Speedeats.com says: "Ribs are great. You wont be disappointed!"
Ok... this place is a must in Richmond. It's not hard to find but barbecue this hard to find most certainly is!  This should be your order: Beef Spare Ribs with Bourbon Apples, cucumber salad and green-chile-cheese-cornbread.  Mmmmm.  Eating on the picnic tables outside makes for a unique experience.

Bottom's Up Pizza
Speedeats.com says: "It's becoming a favorite of many NASCAR travelers. We like to think we have something to do with that!"
Mike Herman Jr, Spotter for Ricky Stenhouse, is a fan of this joint.  "Excellent deep dish pizza," says Herm,  "coupled with a cool atmosphere in a historic part of town, Bottom's Up is worth the visit." The menu itself is a unique experience.  Check it out!

Ronnie's Ribs Wings & Other Things
Bill Baker CAN'T be wrong. The NASCAR.com editor wrote in and strongly suggests that Speedeats.com followers hit Ronnie's joint in Richmond.

The full slab is approximately 4-pounds of trimmed ribs! Oooh baby! They are spiced with Ronnie's own rub and sauced with their yummy homemade sauce. There is not much on the menu but what they do have, they pile high on your plate. We like it that way!

The Black Sheep
Night races make it harder for us NASCAR people to get dinner on the road. The Black Sheep has great lunch and dinner but what we want to highlight is their breakfast. Creativity indeed! Roast Duck Hash, Salmon Hash, Bayou Breakfast (featuring catfish) makes this a breakfast foodie find for sure.
